A peer-to-peer field marketing campaign designed to create awareness about special student pricing of Creative Suite 3 on targeted college campuses. Students, faculty, and staff were targeted for this promotion.
UDOC created “Adobe Days” on campuses across the country, focusing on the back-to-school time frame. These on-campus field marketing events featured trial software DVDs, student registration forms, and prize giveaways. Student reps contacted and met with faculty and staff members to explain newly available pricing.
Street marketing teams over-delivered on objectives by more than 230%. Valuable relationships were forged with bookstore and computer store personnel, providing new on-going support for Adobe within retail outlets. Marketing teams also ran a registration contest and compiled a valuable database with hundreds of campus consumers interested in Adobe products. This database was used by Adobe to market directly to end users.
